Originally from Sherbrooke, Me Geneviève Martel graduated from her law degree at Laval University in Quebec City in 2019. She previously worked as a paralegal for the legal affairs department of the City of Sherbrooke. Her experience allowed her to acquire skills in contractual, statutory and municipal matters as well as in access to information matters.
Admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2020, she joined Murdoch Archambault the same year after completing her articling of the École du Barreau du Québec. Available and attentive to her clients, she is much appreciated by her team and she stands out through her skills and the preparation of her mandates.
Organized and well aware of details, Me Martel mainly focuses her practice in civil litigation and in persons and family law. During her articling, she has developed expertise in representation before the courts where she frequently pleads. Her practice brings her to deal with several aspects of law, including the drafting of procedural documents and legal opinions.
