Expatriated in Europe for many years, Kevin Roussel successfully completed a Master’s degree in International Law at Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2004.
Upon his return in Quebec, he fulfilled a childhood dream by working as a teacher for a few years among the Cree people of Waswanipi, where he was fascinated by the extent of the traditional knowledge and customs of the “University” of Eeyou Istchee.
Merging his legal skills with his passion for Northern Quebec, he obtained equivalent course credits to comply with Quebec law school requirements, was called to the Quebec Bar in 2012 and subsequently joined Murdoch Archambault to devote himself to serving the Cree Nation – as well as many other clients – through new challenges.
